Albums
Toto's discography comprises 13 studio albums as well as 4 live albums. There are also compilations. Toto has released original music as well as collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The band has won multiple Grammy Awards for their work.
Before Toto was formed, members of the band performed session work for other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate, and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session percussionist Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs 1975 album Silk Degrees. Toto was formed in 1976 in the wake of the collaboration.
The third album of Toto, Turn Back, marked an abrupt departure from the progressive sound of their previous albums and was criticized for its absence of hit singles. In 1985 the group's singer Fergie Fredericksen left The band held auditions to find a new frontman. The band picked guitarist Steve Lukather, and recorded Fahrenheit in the year 1986.
In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by going through several demos and tapes from the past to release a special edition called Toto XX. The album was well-loved by fans and the band embarked upon the tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
Shem von Schröck took over Leland Sklar as drummer on the tour in support of the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In the year 2017, Toto released the double-CD set Falling in Between. It included tour recordings and also an interview with the group.

In 1998, Toto started working on the project titled Old Is New. The album featured three new tracks and several completed recordings of old songs. The album was a hit all over the world and the band went on a tour around the world to promote it.

Toto known for the hit song "Africa" The group recently came together to promote their latest album, All In. The album debuted on November 6, 2018 and featured three new songs from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, as well as completed recordings of four other older tracks with Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album included a cover version of Weezer’s song "Hash Pipe" that the band re-released after hearing it on the radio.
